Bought fish!

I went to petland and they had 2 marble angels and they looked healthy so I decided to get them. They are about 3 inches. I also got about 20 ghost shrimp and ?3 feeder guppies came with them? I also bought a Radican sword. The guy said the angels would enjoy it and it would do well in low light? Any verification on that? Also is there a good way to kill the feeder guppies. I threw them in the QT with the angels and shrimp for now but I don't plan on keeping them.

Angels were 19 each. Shrimp were 88 cents for all. The plant was 3 dollars.

I will attach more pictures soon.

All looks good.
I would repot the sword into something else or the substrate once you get it into the tank you want to keep it in.
The gray stuff wraped around the roots is rock wool.
It is not good for your plant over long term exposure.

Be prepared to lose some of the leaves.
These plants are grown emersed ( leaves out of water) at the farms.
Once you place it underwater, it will lose the older leaves and grow new ones.
Do not be surprised if they are differently shaped than the old leaves.
This happens in sword plants.

Yea I plan on leaving the sword in there with the angels for about a week then will move both into the 55G. I will move the ghost shrimp into the other 30. I will plant it in the sand.
