Well, I took my only pretty boy Sonny (electric yellow ciclid) to the LFS. He was 3" and needed to be in a big tank. And I should just be happy with my 30g. I had checked a couple LFS's around here, and found this one to be very good. They were willing to take him in. Before I left (I had to oogle at all of their fish for a bit) someone was interested in Sonny. I overheard, told him I was the original owner. He was a veteran fish keeper, and was going to buy Sonny right then! So Sonny, already was going to a new home. It was a real sad/glad happening. Even though they didn't want to do any trade for him, I am still happy I do want to get a betta for the 10g, gonna start butterin' up my hubby bout that later , and hope to make a rescue by
Friday.!(Just gonna keep the tank running and keep the water params. in check)

Yea, I'm glad you know that he's going to a good home. You hate to lose him, but it helps knowing he'll have a good life and be cared for by an experienced fish keeper.

Thanks, it was as if he knew I was going to take him, because the days before I actually could do it, He was just being so sweet....I miss him already

Yea, probably picking up on your mood. But he'll stay a happy boy now that you found him a good owner, maybe he'll have a pretty female to share a tank with.
