I have been looking and looking at fish stores, walmart, pet supply stores, etc and classifieds... and well I found this I was wanting anywhere from 29-55gallon w/ stand as cheap as possible, but I didn't want another el-cheapo walmart special...
This woman wants $125 for a 39 gallon tank w/ oak stand, filter, heater, decorations basicly everything but water and fish. She just bought it like 2 months ago and couldn't keep up the hobby... and well I really like this tank!

What do you all think?

Yes, local as in 45 min away. My hubby goes by where that person lives everyday while he works so its feasible for him to check it out for me tomm. in person. and if its a deal! which I hope it is... I can go w/ him after work to pick it up....

That's a VERY good deal. That one looks exactly the same as mine. It's actually 37G, but I too was told 39G buy my LFS salesperson. Mine measures 30"x12"x22". It's a height stretched version of a 29g.

I would jump on that in a heartbeat. The only thing I regret about my tank, I should have looked for a used on to save some money. I know I spent about $500-$600 total for everything (rocks, heater, tank, stand, filter, decorations). I could of bought a very nice sized used tank for that much.

Do you happen to know what size and kind of filter, heater size, that is included? It sounds like a wonderful deal (at least in Southern Illinois it would be) as long as she got the correct size filter and heater to begin with and you wouldn't have to put out extra money for that. Congrats!!!!
