Proper diet

the situation is that my bristlnose catfish and red tail shark dont have much to eat in the tank anymore my thats pretty much free of algae. i tryed feeling my red tail bloodworms, and also brime shrimps but it doesnt like them i was scared that it wasnt feeding enough so i started to drop slices of cucumbers into the tank the bristlnose and red tail have been eatting it for the past few days but im not sure if its enough for there diet i mean cucumber doesnt seem to have the nutrients needed for them, so what should i do?

There are many varieties of food for bottom eaters out there. Hakiri has both sinking wafers and sinking algae wafers. Teramin makes sinking food, and Omega One has sinking shrimp pellets. Any of those would round out your BN and red tail's diets.

Zucchini slices are also a good thing to put in the tank for the fish.

How small should the slices be? thin? like smaller than the fish's mouth?

Just a slice of the zucchini, probably about 1/4" thick. The bottom feeders especially will nibble away at it, so it's fine to be larger than them.
