I rarely eat pop-tarts, but back when I was a kid I would eat the smores pop-tarts from the microwave. Microwaved for like 30 seconds (enough to leave it nothing more than a pile of oozing chocolate)
I don't think I've ever tried chilled pop-tarts.. room temp when i'm too lazy to open the microwave or wait for the toaster, but not out of the fridge.
