skunk botia

Does the skunk botia need to be kept in groups or can it be kept alone or in a pair?

Re: skunk botia

As with most botia you need three or more. They are nippy, sneaky, nosey little loaches and will harrasse just about anything you put it with. I have five and they're not called called the "brat pack" for nothing . I finally moved mine to a species tank with a couple of turquoise danios for dithers.
Other than that... I love them. they are personality plus
