| Your Weather How's your current weather? I'm sitting in south Louisiana where it's the 2nd day into Dec. and it's 81 degrees outside. We have not seen much cool weather yet. Couple of my Bradford Pear trees started putting out new leaves and flowers from the warm weather. Someone send me some cool weather. Keeping my fingers crossed that I/we get to go to Chicago next year (Feb/March) and get to see some snow and COLD weather. That's where we are planning to go for our honeymoon. Getting married Feb. 29th. |

Send some of that cold weather this way and put a couple packs of snow if you can too. This 81 degree weather in Dec. has to go. |

| I know where you're coming from MudHog. I'm in southern Alabama, another part of the country that gets winter for about 2 weeks out of the year. The rest is so mild it might as well be fall and spring.
Right now its overcast, 72º with 89% humidity. At 4PM!
I wish it would get cold around here, but its going to stay just that...a wish.
Oh, and congratulations on getting married. Hope you enjoyed the married life! |

Oh, and congratulations on getting married. Hope you enjoyed the married life! | a wish it is. Last time it snowed here was 1989, I think. I was 9 years old and we built a snowman in the yard that lasted all of 45 minutes before it melted.
I'm hoping there's feet of snow on the ground in Chicago for our honeymoon. We never went to CO in the winter, but we frequently got snowed on in July when we did vacation there. |

I know what the winds are like being in hurricane country, but I couldn't imagine what it's like with snow instead of rain. |

My husband and I got married in Chicago on Jan 28,1967. We had 23 inches of snow in less than a day and a half. It had been 60F the day before the storm started. so be careful what you wish for .... http://cbs2chicago.com/local/blizzar....2.334819.html

| It's around 30 F here and it's snowing . Well, actually, right now, it appears the snow is mixed with rain. Nevertheless, I was happy to find snow outside my window when I woke up this morning . I love the sight of first snow every year . |

I dunno the temp, the windchill probably puts it below zero (F) and we got at least half a foot of snow yesterday. |

| Ya Isabella its -5 c atm here, but I have worked outside when Fahrenheit is actually colder then Celsius. That happens at -40 from then on Fahrenheit is actually colder. I was working up in Fort St John a few years back and it was -47c or -52.6 Fahrenheit, it felt like my lungs were going to explode within minutes of working out in that temp. I had to leave my truck running in the parking lot of the hotel while I slept as it would not have started in the morning.
Here are some pics of my house in the snow today.

| Oh, how I long for snow. I know its a PITA, but just once, I want to experience it. We've had freezes and we always have to leave the hoses running to keep the pipes from bursting, so we made huge icicles in the trees...what an amusing, yet dangerous, thing to do!
Anyhow, I think I was 7 years old(which was in '94) when it last snowed here, and we made a 2 foot tall snow man out of pretty much ALL the snow on our half acre lot and he lasted about 3 hours |
