I'm in the prairies so the summer is really hot and some days you can't go outside and the winter is freezing so you can't go outside, I usually just inside on the comp, watch movies, go to friends homes, have friends over, go out at night(summer), not a whole lot to do since you can't really going outside without having a natural health risk.

a little bit of snow today in Denver.. probably about 6-8" so far today on top of the ice from rain earlier. We had the Colorado Aquarium Society meeting tonight so we got to drive around in the mild snow storm.

High of 76ºF with 82% humidity. Temps are going to be 77ºF, 77ºF, 76ºF, 73ºF, 72ºF through Friday! Its awful. Windows open, fans on...no point in turning on the AC for a few days, but it really is no fun having your clothes stick to you in December.

more snow on the way here tonight so they SAY tireing me out. Funny been a Mainer most my life but traveled quite a bit well in the service years ago now at 51 somedays I wish I could talk my wife into going South for the winters but shes a pure breed here not sure if she like warm weather

It's winter now in Bangladesh (December-February) and it's very cold here (though ours is a tropical country and summer is the major season). and the south west side of our country is still recovering from the super cyclone Sidr that destroyed the coastal area last month.

I wish the people who run our East coast aquarium society/ECAS weren't such idiots. They run the society completely different than anywhere else. It's a shame b/c we met a lot of great people thru the society but big wigs have some issues. They treated us different b/c we were keeping piranha. I wasn't impressed with it at all...I wish we had another one or something like it. Hey maybe we'll create our own.


Oh yeah it is SNOWING again!! It's suppose to be a snowy winter this year.

Although it's supposed to get down to 35F saturday night here and it hit 81F today.

I sent a truck driver in the middle of the ice storm today. He left Broussard, LA and headed to Davis, OK with some gas compressor bottles and scrubbers. He was the only 4wd truck available and he didn't want to take the run. Being he was the only one with 4wd, he had to take it. Showed up in a nice '06 F550 with a flatbed and 40' gooseneck.

Not sure how what the temp is outside...probably around 0 plus bad windchill...and it's about the same inside my house right now cause our furnace isn't working!!!! My hands are so cold I'm having trouble typing right now. I say my family up and moves to Hawaii right now.......

Well, I got my wish, don't know how much snow probably 4-6" it's blowing/drifting and really cold. 25 deg/25mph winds and wcf 10deg F. Still snowing lightly. Time to get the oven going with some cookies before the football game comes on

well, the storm has FINALLY passed, started saturday night abot 10pm, and last til sunday night about 9pm, did not stop snowing at all, we even had thunder winds around 60mph. got about 35cm of snow out of it though. good luck to quebec and the maritimes lol

yea, it was decent, nothing compared to what i've seen at my grandparents though, 4ft of snow over night, this was barely a foot over 24 hours

yea, we had a good storm in 2003. we got about 4 or 5' up here in north denver. down in south denver it got up to 10' in spots. it all fell in a 12-hour period and it was wet snow. usually we get dry snow here and it's funny how much heavier the wet stuff is.

we usually get a mix of wet and dry from being so close to the great lakes, and the wet snow is incredibly heavy, take 10X longerto shovel than the dry stuff
