That looks familiar.
We started out with 5g goldfish kitty tv...we seriously got the tank for our kitties.
Now they only seem to noticed the tanks once in awhile. Especially our youngest, Jake.

Lol! He wants to get to the fish!
Our cat used to take swipes at the tank to try and get the fish!

Thanks !

And, yes, the frog is ..... something else.

My old male cat is ignoring the fish tanks too. But he sleeps in a drawer just bellow the tank.

I've kept my cats out of my room with the aquarium because one of my cats loves water so I'm afraid he might try to get in somehow...and the other cat will try to play with the fish, and the third cat would probably try to eat them...

Our thinks that the resealable bags of fish food with are kitty treats. So I put the food in containers..I was getting tired of having 4 cats run out when it was time to feed the fish not them. Plus they'd tear it open and fish pellets would be all over the floor.

are you sure the cats weren't having an identity crisis?

Maybe...but have you smelled cat food, the fish flavored smells a tad like fish food.
Anything that sounds like Temptations cat treat's bag brings in the crew.

sounds like they have split-personality disorder and I'd schedule a session with Dr. Doolittle for them. talk about cat/fish.

we send them to group therapy...its a group of cats trying to learn to love water, but they always hold their meetings at my neighbor's pigeon house
