I like visited fishlore again yesterday and uh... where are the smileys? =( probably an obvious answer but I can't find them

OS X for me too. they all seem to be there for me.. are you using Firefox or IE?

Go to the My Settings pulldown menu and select "Edit Options." Make sure that you have something other than "Basic Interface" selected at the very bottom of the page under the Miscellaneous Options section. Basic hides everything but the text box.
