| Cows Run From McDonald's!..Can't Say I Blame Them! In West Haven, Utah, eight cows escaped and started a mild stampede when the rear gate of their trailer accidentally opened as the driver pulled into a McDonald's! It took two hours to round the cows back up in what sheriff's deputies called, "Operation Hamburger Helper." Who knows -- maybe they thought they were on their way to becoming the next quarter-pounder with cheese! (myway.com) |

| This makes absolutely no sense at all. I mean, everyone knows that there isn't any actual beef in any McDonalds products. |

I can't stand Mcdonalds food. Especially after hearing the story of some guy who left a Mcd. hamburger (I think it was a hamburger, maybe it was fries) out in a jar on his desk for a couple months. Nothing happened to it, of course...apparently even the bacteria are smart enough not to eat Mcdonalds |

| lol.. yea, of all the fast food chains in existence, i'd rate mcdonalds food (and commercials) at the complete bottom of the sewers they collect the secret sauce in. if it weren't for disney toys and playplaces, they would've gone away decades ago. |

The stuff in the skimmer bowl is full of proteins! Last edited by Peterpiper; November 16th, 2007 at 04:55 PM.

| Aw jeez people!.. whether it's roadkill being served up in their burgers or not, all restaurants whether fast-food or fancy schmancy, whether they cater to meat-eaters or vegans, serve food that is anything but organic!
My take on this growing debate is unless you grow your own veggies and raise your own poultry/ livestock or see the sources which the restaurants you eat at and the supermarkets you shop at get their food products, you ain't got much of a leg to stand on.. I'm pretty sure most of you know how difficult it can be because of (A) crop pests (B) animal diseases (C) supply vs demand, to access natural foods of any kind whether meat or vegetables.
..And for the record, while I do think Wendy's and Ruby Tuesday do serve a pretty decent burger, I don't think they have the best interest of my family's health in mind when they serve us.. but IMHO, while they do serve the best burgers, they along with most of the other fast-food joints have yet to come up with anything remotely close to the 'Sausage Mc Muffin w/Egg'.. Dennie's and I.H.O.P.'s being possibly the only exceptions to the breakfast-menu rule. Last edited by Richard; November 16th, 2007 at 06:00 PM.

| You guys are so right!
Just have to add something I heard - You know the soggy little slices of mouldy gherkins they put in the burgers?
Well yeah... they have to put those in, otherwise the percentage of sugar in the burger would mean that they'd have to categorise it as a dessert. Yum. |

You are right, and another topic is that Top Ramen and Mac & Cheese in a box are NOT FOOD! This has to be the most over fed, undernourished generation in world history! But when you are out and about doing your holiday shopping, it is still hard to pass up a fast food joint when you smell those fries!
I've had it both ways, grown the food, chased the @^&*$#@!cows, and buy from the store....we just do the best we can for our families.
Happy Thanksgiving folks, and may God Bless you all! |
