yea hello guys 2day i went and purchased a mystery snail from a local aquarium shop he seemed very health looking at his shape color and movement and i put him in my 15 liter 3 gallon tank where i also keep my Betta. i did all the right thing just how u would put a fish into a new home and i tested the water before it it all seemed good even the temp was at 26 i think. but after sometime of moving around the tank it stopped moving and went into its shell i think its died or dieing but every 10 - 20 mins i look at the tank he either moves or is moving so i was wondering do they sleep or rest where they reduce their movement? and if they don't and he is died what can i do about the next one i purchased. the aquarium owner is our family friend and told me if it died its because some breeders inbreed and makes the snails weaker sometimes and offered to give me more for free but i feel bad if i somehow killed this snail.

well, i've not had snails but the shrunken flesh kind of sounds like a non-living snail..
