| Favorite Tank? Hey you guys... I know alot of us have MTS, and I was wondering, those of you who do, what makes your favorite tank, well... your favorite? Is it the decor, the fish, a little of both?
We just added our 9th tank, its a 46g Euro Bowfront, and right now its my new favorite. I dont know if its because its new, or I just really like the decor... there is only 1 fish in there as we are waiting for the cycle to complete... so, I cant say that its the fish...
I do have a favorite fish, but he is in one of my least favorite tanks.
Ahhh, the joys of MTS. |

| Thats a great question! And a hard one to answer...
I have six tanks going and I know that the discus fish are my favorite fish, so I believe that tank is my favorite. But... My angel tank set up is my favorite set up. I like the blue gravel, the background and the plants.
So I really cannot say what makes a tank a favorite, but I am leaning towards the set up and decoration. ~ kate |

| Easy for me -- my favorite tank is my 10g, since it's the only one up and running. |

| Im attracted to terrains, thats why I want to get a reef tank but the cost was so high. Luckily I now have this tank and am making it as organic as possible. |

| We have 6 up & running...I love the 120g b/c the Datnoids are friendly, they'll eat right out of your fingers. The sorority betta tank is fun b/c the girls are so personable, as is any betta. I love my angelfish b/c they respond to me every time I go near the tank.
BUT I do think once we have actually krib fry in the 50g...that will be my favorite tank. A tank full of kribensis would look so cool, I love the way my bf has the plants in the 50g too. Right now I love all our tanks equally. |

Is it the decor, the fish, a little of both? | My favorite tank is any tank that is fully planted and looking very natural (with driftwood, etc.), and that is not overstocked (any fish is beautiful to me so it doesn't matter what fish this tank holds).
Ideally, this fully planted tank should be something like 200 - 300 gallons ... |

| Even though I love all my tanks. I have 2 favorites, my 36 because it is my first large tank and is very much like a natural river with all the plant and the wood, but it has some plastic shells and a ship aerator, oh and I can't forget because it has killifish in there too. My 37 because it is like the amazon with my angels, rams, cardinal tetras, L52 plecos and most of my plants(90%) are from South America too.

| Right now its my 10g but thats mostly because other than needing to pick up a few more zebra danios (and maybe some more ghost shrimp heh) the tank is done. Once I find the right piece of wood and get some live plants going I think my 22g is going to top the list. Of course once once all my tanks are completely done and stocked its going to be hard to pick a favorite |

| Currently my only tank is 10 gallons but I'm planning to get a 46 gallon bowfront as well! I can guarantee you it will be my favorite. It will be bigger, beautiful, and natural looking with live plants and all my favorite compatible tropical fishies.
My 10 gallon I've had since I was little and the gravel is purple and green. It's very ugly. The plants are fake and there's a cave thing that isn't so bad but it's also immensely fake looking. I dislike it very much and the 10 gallon will become my fry/hospital/quarantine tank when I get my 46 gallon. |
