It's kinda funny to watch (if they aren't nearly causing a collision). You just think to yourself "You have absolutely no idea...you don't just stop in the #1 lane and put on your blinker".....uggghhh no concept of merging or just turning at the next street and coming back to the turn they missed. Nope just stop and signal...EEEK

yea, it's pretty crazy and you have to drive a combo of defensive and aggressive here to avoid getting into accidents and watch out because i've seen that they WILL run into you on purpose if they have the right of way.

My empathy to you to have to deal with US (them) coming into your world and causing you such frustrations..I can only imagine your thoughts as you see someone doing something SOOOO stupid and the looking at the lic plate and going "Uggh figures!" You nailed it with the agressive/defensive! Luckily once a year I go to training which is alot of fun, but teaches you how to drive and control the veh. We have a whole course on a fairgrounds prknglot. Each course has a different task, my favorite is the one where you have a veh with bald tires and they have you drive (fast) into a water soaked area and then hit your brakes, you have to control the spin out,,,it's really a rush! But that's the controlled world,,on the streets is a different course all together...LOL

I got on this site because I have 2 silver dollars that have black at the top of their top fin and on their tail. The male (?) has red on his anal fin (just a little) and they breed CONSTANTLY. Are they Black Barbed Silver Dollars? I have found the name but no pics. I'll post pics tonight
OOOPs got off track..I did post the pics but in a different area (fish ID) well anyway here's the Silver Dollars. Though the red tail male is now breeding with the blk tail female too,,so they've all figured out they are from the same species, but I am still curious. I've only seen the red tail silver dollars.

I am NOT surprised numb sculls,,,not even the decency to help her out. People here have become a different breed. The "me" generations mixed with the moron=whatever it is we have roaming around here, but they are completely oblivious and very self centered....UGHHH Charlie Brown! Just got back from Black/Sabbath w/Dio and Alice Cooper concert..They can still ROCK!!! On the way home we stopped at Jack in The Box,,a couple had their battery die and my husband and another guy helped push them to the side of the road. We didn't have jumper cables, but had we,,we would have helped them. "Where have all the good People gone? Colorado? :-)"

lol.. not on the roads here.. it's mean and people don't know what to do if you're nice.. one time i saw someone wanted over so i let them have an opening, but they wouldn't take it - i think they just didn't believe i was being nice.

it's a lot different in florida, people still show some road courtesy.. some even use turn signals!

What a concept...is that what that little handle on the left is for ? I lived in Florida in 1989-1990, Sarasota. It was awesome out there except what was it.. Pimento bugs? I think...errr I didn't much care for those guys. Everything else I could handle (bug wise) I wasn't around any gator areas and stayed away...(thumps head)...I'm Smart

Her's the betta (mr lonely) that I'm thinking of putting in the community tank. Would really appreciate your thoughts...he doesn't make bubble nests anymore and rarely flares his fins (used to do it all the time looking at himself in the reflection)....

yea, flying roaches aka palmetto bugs. i don't think putting him in the community tank would help.. betta's personalites will change over time, our Aslan used to flare a lot more than he does now, but it's nothing wrong with him.. and none of ours do bubble nests. i made a thread in the betta forum for you with the posts from that other thread to get all the betta owners in on it.

lol.

About the driving thing.

Dino told me when I first moved to East Tennessee area that there is this cosmic guild of people that have come together to preserve turn signals. That there is only a finite amount of times the blinkers of the world will blink and the people are just helping preserve it... (of course I chuckled and continue to curse at people who are too intellectually challanged to take a half second to turn on the blinker)

Sadly since I am quickly wanting the same thing for Christmas that Dino wants (anyone who knows him personally probably knows what it is) I pay more and more attention to just who I'd use the present on.
