Hey gang? Do you guys name your fish?

We have alot of fish, but for some odd reason, I only named one. For whatever reason, he just seemed like he needed one....

He is very beautiful. I had a red cap orando(?) that I named after my grandmother who had just passed away shortly after I got the fish(kind of the purpose of getting the fish).

Hey, do you guys know how to link photos so they show as thumbnail images? If not, here's how: Go to your photo gallery and under the image you want to link to is a box called "Linked Thumbnail". Click in that box, copy the text and then past that text into a post.

Example of how it shows up:

The cool part about doing it that way is that you can click the photo and it takes you to that member's gallery and they can browse your other photos too.

where do you find them with coloring like George? i'd love to have a big tank with a few of them.

I found George at my LFS in the dreaded "assorted goldfish" tank. I hate when they do that. George is a Ryukin goldfish, but I also have another goldfish with similar coloring, but a different variety, a shubunkin, that I got at PetCo.

i named my two paradises and my betta...but then i got bored at work the other night, so i named them all
(the corys names are their "scientific" name e.g.- leopard cory is leo)

lol, that system works.. like the member who's fish were named for the room they were in.
