Need Smiley Central help - anybody?
To those who use SmileyCentral.com:
How do you make a smiley your avatar on Fish Lore? When I go to Smiley Central and choose one smiley, and insert its code in my space for avatar (where it says to put the URL of the avatar), it doesn't work, it says that the URL is "invalid".
I know I asked that question on Fish Lore long ago, but I forgot how to do it
Thanks for any help

I think I have it figured out
put the pic you want in a message, right click it, go down to properties, copy the address, go to edit your avatar, go all the way down to the bottom and put that address into the top box. click save changes. It should show up see my avatar I saved from your post to try and see if it would work.
Now I have to figure how to put them into posts with the new forum. Hummm.

Oh sorry I changed it to the butterfly

Now how do I get the properties address without having to send them to somebody then copying the address?

Yes, exactly, that's it! THANKS CAROL !!! I knew there was a way to do it because I remember I was told how to do it in the past (here on Fish Lore). And if I remember correctly, it was you who told me, lol So thanks a lot once again

Hmm ...
... Carol, I just did exactly what you told me, and while the picture from Smiley Central does show in my avatar, it doesn't move ...
I'm probably doing something wrong again.

But Carol, I could have sworn that's exactly how I did it, and it didn't work. Only ... I don't see any "location" word in the properties of a smiley. I only see "address" where the smiley's URL is.
OK, let's choose some smiley again. For example this one:
At the bottom of my post, there is a screen shot of what my properties window for this specific smiley looks like. I copy and paste the link given next to the word "address" into the "Custom Avatar" space (into the first option). Below, there is a screen shot of the custom avatar window.
I just did it now. And it does not work. The smiley does not move. Or is it just my computer where it doesn't move?
