Anyway, wow ... a 3-day, 1,800-mile road trip ... yes, that's definitely some huge stress on any fish! I am glad you have all of this behind you. By the way, where in Colorado are you guys? How do you like it there? It's such a beautiful state! |

| Re: They made it! thanks everyone! Stacy took really good care of them on the trip and the mahachai baby actually died before the trip, ariel after.. so only Anakin was lost on the trip.
we're in denver, so not really the scenic part of the state, but where most of the population is. not really cold yet.. went to 41 one night, but that's about it.. mild really. Last edited by COBettaCouple; September 18th, 2007 at 12:29 PM.

( Why is the typing on a time lag ) Weird! |

| Re: They made it! Yeah, that typing timelag is annoying. I can barely be bothered to correct my spelling mistakes anymore.
It seems to be coming from a number of new features and the way the system is put together. Mike is looking into it, to pinpoint exactly what's causing the performance trouble. He's already improved things a lot, but there is definitely still a lag. |

| Re: They made it! Just found this, it answers most of my questions, Dave and Stacy, I am sorry about your losses, but you are true inspiration to all those folks out there who for one reason or another have to move with their babies........
I am still trying to get used to these changes, and wonder where the smilies are?

| well, the room they're in has a real good humidifier and air purifier so i'm not seeing any difference in water loss due to evaporation and the air going into their tanks should be free of any pollutants. they all seem happy and Aslan's healing up well.
My favorite state is confusion. |

| I'll hunt around - did you post about how you moved everyone? We're looking at december. Unfortunately the weather won't be much help in getting everyone safely from sac to NYC.... |

| you moving too? you're moving too? that's a long move. i'll be writing an article (with Stacy's help since she is the one who moved with the fish) on how we got ours here with product links once our computer is back on the internet for whichever issue of the FishLore magazine is in the works then. Definitely well before your move. Quote:

| excellent. I'll take your tips - I'm sure they'll come in handy and let you know about our outcome. It IS a long move, but we're super excited. NYC, for those of you who haven't been, is one of the most amazing cities in the world. It literally hums with a vitality all her own. |

| Hehe the nightmare of every fish enthusiast? Moving them? :P
I remember learning all sorts of colorful language as a kid when my dad was moving their 75 gallon tank only 4 miles away. I can only imagine what I would have learned with that long of a trip lol. |
