Random Question

Ive been asking about painting items and putting them in a tank. after the overwhelming amount of responses (2 on 2 different posts) i came to this question. people that put fake plants or metal in the tank... someone suggested to me to just put an aquarium safe sealer over whatever i painted before putting it in the tank... couldnt you put sealant over metal and other things that might be potentially harmful to fish? just curious?

It would make sense that you could. What are you using to seal them?
