Rena XP4 vs. Fluval FX5

Hello all! Just sittin here drinkin my Esspresso. LOL. I have heard alot of pros and cons on the Fluval XP5, and was wondering if anyone has one and if they prefer them over the Rena XP4. I like to stick with what works, and I've had Rena filters for years. None of them have ever needed to be repaired, so I'm a little hesitant to change. It's like the old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" The reason I ask is because I noticed the Fluval FX5 has a flow rate of 925 gph verses the Rena at 450 gph. I know this is with zero head pressure, but still. I could buy 2 of these and that would replace 4 Rena XP4's. I FINALLY got my stand and canopy today, so I need filters ASAP. I have been working on installing my background for the last few days, and need to know if I should stick with Rena or not. Thanks!! ttyl

My boyfriend says the Rena is better...we've had both on our 120g...the Rena does keep the water clearer & cleaner.

Go with the Rena.

Maintainance is a lot easier.

That's what I thought. I'll just stick to what works. Thanks!!
