For those of you who know, i redocorated my 15gall tank 3 weeks ago. I tested the the day after and all was well. I tested it last week and all was well again (ammonia 0, nitrate 5, nitrite 0, pH 7.2). I left it so long without fish, incase changing the gravel cause it to go into a cycle again, but all seems fine so far. I'm going to test it again today and i'll post the results for you to see, but would you safely say that i probably won't have to re-cycle now? Do you think i could get the tiger barbs tomorrow (+ the shrimps if they have any) ?

the tank sounds like it's ready. you might add the tank occupants 1 group at a time to ease the bioload.

So if I got the tiger barbs first then maybe a few days later or maybe a week get the shrimp?

I'd try the shrimp first, the tiger barbs might be more accepting of them if they're in the tank first.

hmmm ok, but im not sure weather my LFS will have shrimp yet. I have to ask them.
