OK, so... we have conceded that we are suffering from MTS, but I also think we are on the verge of being called the "Crazy Fish People". When do you actually go from hobbyist to crazy... or do you have to be crazy to get into this hobby in the first place? Not that I am complaining because we truly enjoy it, but... wow! You know you went over the edge when you find yourself constantly wondering where you can place just one more tank... and the next time... maybe, just a little bigger... or, maybe a different species... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh MTS, MTS, MTS, MTS!

I had a bad case of MTS once, but my husband asked me if it wouldn't be easier to care for 3 tanks instead of seven. I now have a 29 gal community tank with 1 female betta, a divided 20 gal with 4 male Bettas and a 5 gal with one female Betta. I have the same amount of fish, just not the same amount of tanks. What to do with all the 10 gallon tanks though...... hehehe -----maybe I will switch the five gallon for a 10 gallon, (after all it's not that much bigger than a 5 gallon, but would hold more fish) then I could get another Betta. Oh oh, the wheels are turning now. A Bindi jr would be nice. I really miss her. I now have MFS.

LoL my friends call me the "crazy fish lady" instead of the crazy cat lady....They also tell me that I am the town's aquarium with all the tanks in my living room. Sadly, I am being forced to get rid of my 20 gallon community tank as it has started to leak slowly. But I guess it's better this way I really am running out of room in my living room!

I do! That's were I take my naps!
But I found a double 10 gallon stand, so that should cut down on a little bit of space that they are taking up. I feel better getting rid of the 20 gallon now because I promised myself I would start looking for a 100-125 gallon tank to "replace" my 55 gallon cichlid tank. Then I could get rid of the 55, and be down to only 4 tanks! (haha one of which would take up half of my living room but its ok cuz it will be sweet!)

WON'T LET YOU! Good thing he is just a boyfriend, these are the issues that determine keepers, or losers. I like timg's appreciation of his love, Karen. He said she didn't know anything about fish, and now enjoys them almost as much as he does. These guys are out there! You don't have MTS unless the fish come ALMOST first!

lol, well our upcoming move means no more tanks for a few weeks and the $$$ to buy hoods, lights, filters, etc. just isn't there now.

MTS Good for the soul. (contrary to what your wallet thinks). If I could, every length of wall and every dividing wall and on every table or stand, I would have Aquariums. I want a long series of tanks beginning with small minnows and working down the river till it reached a giant reef tank. Follow the ecosystem. Ponds\lakes to rivers to estuaries, deltas and swamps to the great blue sea. Space permitting I would have 10 million gallons of shark tank. OK OK see what you've done. Gonna have to do something to keep my MTS infected mind here in the now. Hmm maybe I could run to the LFS and pick up a little betta get up ..... NO can't aaaarrrrggghhhhhhhhh Brain hurting must stop.

I'm on number 3, but will be upgrading my 20 to a 30 soon. Empty tanks need filled lol. Gonna be four. At least until I get the 10 I loaned out back. Hmm 5. Uh Oh it's started and I didn't even realize.

I blame my MTS on a measly 10-gallon tank. It's the culprit that started it all.

Had a 10 gallon, thought hmmmm I'll get some fish.
But then I thought hmmm, if I'm going to get fish, wouldn't it be nicer to have a 30 gallon??
So I got the 30 gallon, but THEN....I'm still looking at this empty little 10 gallon tank.
So I thought well, why don't I go ahead and put the 10 gallon on the bottom of my 30 gallon stand...Brilliant!
But THEN I thought hmmmm, if I'm going to put a tank on the bottom of that stand, wouldn't a 29 gallon look so much nicer?? (and then I could have more fish hehehe)
So I got the 29 gallon, but NOW....I'm still looking at this empty little 10 gallon tank.............dum dum DUM

I've thought about filling the 10 and getting bettas, or using it as a home for the multitude of guppy fry that my 4 pregnant females are going to drop any day now...then I think about bettas again, or maybe it'd be fun to have a just cory tank cause I love the little guys so much, then I think maybe I could put Lucifer in it so he stops beating up my other fish, then I think about bettas again...Before I know it, the 10 gallon will strike again, and I'll end up with at least a 20 gallon for all this stuff, and I'll still be looking at an empty little 10 gallon tank....
