Check out these flowers of mine, they r called Nightqueens! Because they only bloom at night and die out the next morning! This flower requires extreme care and they r extremely rare too!! I have one of these plants on my balcony. These 2 bloomed last night at 11 p.m. these flowers r huge!.........................

Wow, I have seen one of those, but never in full bloom. It is beautiful, you should be very proud. Why would a plant only bloom once and then die?

Tom, I believe the flower died.. not the plant. There are a lot of flowers that only bloom once and die off the next day. One common plant is the daylily another is the morning glory, the flower will bloom and die off in 24 hours. But... you were pulling Neville's leg right??

Yes, the plant do not die, it's the flower. my plant is 20 yersa old, one of my aunts gave it to me a few years back, it produces nearly 50 of these nightqueens every year. how bad it blooms only at night.
