There, I said it, I called him my husband. Married 2 weeks and feeling very self-conscious about these 2 little syllables! He deserves this grand ovation, though, as I was looking for him at his desk because he had to study something, and found him sat on a cushion on the floor, so he could study while still being close to his new dwarf puffers! Took a picture (of course I can't upload it right now as my equipment is at my parents' ).

That's about all we have in common, aside that we REALLY look alike (no prizes for guessing the colour of our kids' hair and eyes).

Am the hyperactive planning type, he's the relaxed, laid back, more let's say lazy type.
Am into singer-song writer stuff, he's into punk.
I loooove having people around, he's more of a solitary person.
I loooove facts, he's super creative.

Oh am more the one with the surprises and multidimensions. He's more a calm rock. Am this mix of cookey/pedantic, really sociable yet quite stuck on certain values that for some reason I find important (don't ask me why, it drives me mental when someone uses their forks wrong at the table).

But it's true, he's got this depth that I really hope I never get to the bottom of.

It's fabulous that you've been married 40 years. Congratulations.

Erm, he seems a little resistant to the betta thing. He caught me buying 2 really small low tables which of course would be perfect for 2x 5G's or so. I joked around about it to 'test the water' (waaaarf! test the water. Anyway...) and he wasn't amused.

I am so glad to hear your wedding worries are behind you, and now it's time for the new adventure of marriage. Hubby and I have been married going on 22 years next month, and life just keeps getting better. I wish you two the very best, and always put each other first. Good marriages are so rare these days where the spouses truly respect each other. My hubby is really what got me so into this hobby, and if I wanted a 1000 tank tomorrow, it would be in the house as soon as we could find one!
