Sorry to spoil your fun guys....Harry Potter didn't die in the latest book Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows. Author J. K. Rowling was telling that some characters will die including Harry, but Harry didn't die because fans requested Rowling not to kill him.

Yea, he named him Shirley (the hamster had an identity crisis and wore dresses). Other than that he was pretty regular for a hamster, except for crowing when the sun came up. It's no wonder Harry impaled himself on a broomstick after losing little Shirley.. very, very sad..

Oh that hamster's last scene was harrowing. Frankly, I think the little critter deserves an oscar. He breathes his last breath in Hedgwick's wings. He basically died in a quiddish accident when someone acccidentally took the hamster for the snitch. It got pretty nasty.
