Hi all! I wanted to share an email my Mom forwarded to me some time ago. The whole gist of the email is how amazing it is that these brave, outstanding men and women serving overseas can see unknown amounts of horrible things and still maintain their sense of humor. It will take me a few minutes to load all the pics though, cause there are like 17..so bear with me!
I went ahead and didn't load the last one...I was afraid I would offend someone and get in trouble!! It shows an overhead view of a plane and in the window of the cockpit you can just make out the shining moon!

iv got some good pics like that from when i was on ops but id probly get in trouble if i posted them haha nice pics critter_fritter thanks for sharing.
With my last name being Tate I thought it was a good idea to stand by one of our planes while stationed in Guam. I positioned my body on the side of the plane where it read United States Navy, however I stood in front of the "S" in States. So I got a pic of me with the plane and tates navy in the back ground. Some people take fun too far and blew up the pic and put it near the duty office and well I was "awarded" quite a bit of extra duty for the picture opportunity. Oh well humor is humor.
Okay, since we're discussing the American military-I know we have Navy, Marines, but are any of our members Air Force or Army? I'm just wondering out of curiosity.
Love it Slug!! The way I see it space traveler...whatever differences in opinion the people may have with the current or former government, the bottom line is these TROOPS put their lives on the line everyday...not the politicians!
hi bolivianbaby im in the British army, i know you asked about the American military but there ya go, we prity much serve in all the same places together these days anyway.

That counts! We appreciate armed forces worldwide, anyone who helps make this world a better and safer place.
My daughter was "teaching" me Social Studies earlier today to help her with an upcoming test. I learned about the Battle of Britain during WWII.
The reason I was asking about American military is because last year, my daughter was having trouble learning the four military branches.
Hahaha when I was in Iraq we made some crazy music videos to lighten the mood. Every chance we got we would film a little, took us about 3 months to film the whole thing from start to finish but it was well worth the distraction!
