I'm a college student, majoring in Psychology - but I'm changing to Pre-Vet med.
I'm super passionate about animals & animal rights - specifically dogfighting.
I work at Bath & Body Works...not a forever job but it pays for the fishies.
I have 13 cats, and a hamster besides all of my fin babies.
I'm dating the love of my life...and you know he's a keeper because he loves my fish as much as I do.
I used to do A LOT of volunteer work through Girl Scouts (I went all the way up through my Gold Award) and now through Phi Theta Kappa. I also used to volunteer at my local humane society for 7 years.

i have a chihuahua, named daisy, she is 5 years old and is the MOST agressive dog i've ever met, but we are training her now to get it out of her sistem LOL
I have a thing for plants. It all started a few months ago in biology class, we were asked to grow plants from seeds... Currently i am growing like.... 9 Bean plants LOL And theyre ALL in my room... what a weirdo i am LOL... Also, i am really into fish, but i think i might have an obsession with FL LOL i also like to talk with my dog, i like to be on YOUTUBE alot, so whenever i see interesting videos i post them on here LOL
In general i am happy It doesnt take alot for me to get angry though, boy i get scary when i'm angry LOL
I hate to hear babies crying. It is one of the reasons why i am not sure about having children.
I havent volunteered much. The only time it was a big deal for me was when i went to the state's prison for social service, it was our school's trip so i was in betweena ll the criminals... it was not cool.

My name is Melissa (Water is part of my last name) so no creativity in my screen name either Amanda lol! I am engaged to the love of my life and we are getting married in June on our 6th anniversary, woohoo! I am 27 years old with no kids, but we plan to have twins so we can get the 2 done and over with in one shot!!
I graduated in May 2009 with my associates in accounting and will be going to start my bachelor degree in January. I have worked full time on third shift for Walmart (not the pets dept lol) for 4 years. Currently we just have the fish, but will hopefully be getting a boxer in a few months!
We love roller coaters, nature, grilling, Star Wars, computers, fishies and their fry, hanging out with friends, and ect. Dislikes/pet peeves are lieing, people who always complain, and when my chinese alagae eater act up. I used to volunteer a lot with PTK, but it is hard to find the time now That's me in a nut shell

Clean house..ROLF..lol..Really though I love getting out with our family to do anything that's fun, swimming, hiking, we went cave exploring that was fun, riding bikes.

In general I am a VERY happy person. I don't have a lot of off days and when I do I say that there is no such thing as a bad day just great days and good days.

What are some of your favorite things?
hmmm.. The smell of baby lotion and the smell of new plastic..lol. Watching my kids face when I haven't seen them for a couple hours and they come running to me all smiles. Ice tea, diet cherry coke, homemade chicken noodles and mash potatoes with gravy and corn. YUMMY. The rain. I love the rain. The harder it rains the better.

dirty house, screaming children..lol..hmm.. I think that' it.

I volunteer at our humane society. I'm passionate about my children, I try very hard to raise them to be compassionate, responsible and loving people who can make GREAT decisions on their own.

-I go to work full time as a admin. assistant at Macerich, I am currently taking IGETC classes to transfer to UCLA/CSULA for a business adminstrator degree then study for a police program to become a police officer/sheriff.
-I used to have a pet Hamster named Hammy but he past away recently and a guinea pig that died too soon to even be named. That was a complete bummer. All is well now they're in pet heaven now.
-In my spare time I go out to bars/clubs/fish stores/play xbox/family parties/I also love food and cooking food/play with my sisters dogs, they are super fun!/ and more.

I like fish and dogs and birds - actually, most animals. I like to read (science fiction, fantasy, historical fiction sometimes). I like to crochet and do counted cross stitch. I like to do jigsaw puzzles but I don't have a lot of room to keep them set up. I love to go fishing. Oh, and I like to play with fire - I'm a closet almost arsonist (I like to safely build and light fires - no matches allowed). I probably left some stuff out, but that's the basics.

Well, my b-day is soon and I will be 35. Yes, I am a mom.
I was married, divorced a year ago, now I am in a serious relationship.
I have a 3 yr old boy & a 5 yr old girl.
I was a stay at home mom for about 5 years until things started going down hill for me. It gets real personel, I'll leave it at that. I got a job in retail this last April, was a sales associate, just got offered a job in the office 2-3 weeks ago. doing different things, answering phone, selling hunting and fishing licenses, data entry, accounting ect.
I have a 10 yr old cat named Alyeska and a puppy named Kita.
Fishkeeping is my only hobby.
I am doing better then I was a year ago. More happier, but still have lots of mixed emotions.
I really don't know what are my favs......I think the only thing is that I love to watch t.v. shows.
No pet peeves.
I don't do much on the computer except for fishlore and pogo games here and there.
Fishlore has helped me through my personal problems. It pretty much gave me something to do besides feeling lost.
It depends on what they are curious/nosey about, then we shall see.

Hi! I am in my late 30s, married and a dad to two youngsters.
I was in the Army for a while, then in software development for about a decade, then went to law school and recently graduated.
I am currently volunteering full-time in legal services (helping the poor). I hope to get a paying job doing similar work, but it's tough out there for lawyers right now.
I don't currently have any hobbies besides fishkeeping. The legal work sucks up a lot of my spare time. Actually, I take that back... I spend a lot of time reading up on early childhood development and teaching my children.
I am usually pretty sad these days, but things seem to be picking up.
My main pet peeve is unfairness. I also hate egotistical people who put others down.
I play an old computer game called "nethack". It's so old and clunky-looking my wife makes fun of me for it.
