I gave George the JD his first molly fry yesterday. I put five in the tank. A few hours later, one molly fry was still swimming. I tried to get it out from being in the live plants at the top of the tank. I moved them to the other side of the tank and that molly fry was right behind them. Apparently he'd witnessed the demise of his siblings.

My daughter gave the molly fry a voice and this is what she said:

"I'm not turning loose of these plants, not even for fishy flakes. Oh wait, I AM FISHY FLAKES".

I'm not going to take the plants out of the top of the tank, though. Sooner or later, he'll figure out that's where his live food hides out to escape his evil wrath. If he gets this hunting thing down, I may have to change his name to something more sinister.

ROFL I know it is evil and funny all at the same time. I have been sitting here watching Angels chase itty bitty cons all over the place, one of them is checking under each plant leaf. And there is water all around the JDs tank where they have been after them. Who needs TV?

Exactly! I need to make sure when I feed him tomorrow that I sit and watch. I only watched for a few moments and it was mollys 5, George 0, so I figured I was costing him "the game".

I did not mean to hijack your thread by any means. But you just gotta make sure you can sit and watch the show next time. I am still watching. Have you ever seen an angelfish swim on its side well I have now and they are fast. Oh and I will get the water up by the JDs tank when they finish up. This tank has a full lid but there is still water all over the place!
