When you notice the Power Outlets come in 2 when you need 3?!?! ( heater, filter lamp)

Goodness, all my Power outlets are overloaded with extension cables so that way i can keep all my tanks in good condition. Lol they should make them 6 instead of 2 so we can keep multiple tanks.

I use surge protectors. It gives you about 6 outlets.
After I set up the last tank, I had to search for a place to plug in my vacuum. LOL

I agree. 2 outlets are not enough. Luckily I had my fish room wired on it's own 20 amp breaker. I have a total of 22 available plug ins. Mostly groups of 4's. 8 behind the tank itself. So if I have a tank blow out and a tsunami hit's my bed....buzzzzzzzzzzzzed. Fried! LOL (just teasing)

I have surge proctectors everywhere...I can't even hide them all anymore. Tommy is putting so many outlets in the fish room I am actually hoping I might have a few extras....Whooo Hoooo and it has its own breaker too!!! I could have a big ole sale on Craigs list once I get all these tanks moved and just have surge protectors on there LOL.

I use the 6 outlet adapter. They have all the plugs directly into the outlet so you don't have to be concerned if you get water on the floor. You can get them at Wal-Mart in the lighting section. They're really inexpensive. I use them for all of my tanks because in addition to the regular fish stuff, my paranoid tail runs two filter in each tank except for my 5 gallon betta tanks. Plus, it also provides me with constant extra media for my constant MTS-another proven fact

6 outlet adapter, a couple of them would come in handy.

I'll have to check it out next time I go to Wallyworld.........

lol what i do is i use the computer outlets (the kind that have the red switch on them)and add 2 of the 6 adapter so over all i have 12 outlets

Lol this happens to me with everything. I dont think my fish stuff has three prongs(only heater) or whatever they're called but all my computer stuff does, and a fan too.
