..is there ever a stoopid question?..My sis, (CapeKate), and I were discussing her fish, JD's and talked about their size for 8 months old..well I wanted to impress her on all my research and fish knowldge

( remember new-bie here), I asked her about the water temp, she said its good, I asked her about their food, only the best she replied..SO

I needed to ask one question more..the finishing touch on my new found knowledge..'AND HOW IS THE LIGHTING in the tank

( I was feeling really good on that question )

SHE replied...'they are NOT plants ya know' DAH

hahah.. I have to say that I have not laughed so hard in a long time.. almost fell on the floor on top of my cat!

Nooo they're not plants! The lighting is not going to affect their growth!

..I did not know that the fish cared not wether the light is on or off to grow..

Sorry for laughing so Sis.. but you were so dang serious when you said that..
As an avid gardener, I can relate to such a question if we were talking about plants. Thats probably why it stuck me so funny.

Um, you want to make sure whatever you get has a full lunar light show display that goes active about 1am GMT. This is when the fish are known to have the highest chance of their growth spurts.
