I have a crush on the guy at the fish store, LOL!
I just called to see if he had a certain fish in stock, and told him I'd be there tomorrow to get it. He knew who I was and said "Alright, can't wait to see you then."

Has this ever happened to anybody??

p.s. I REALLY hope he isn't on this forum, because I would be MORTIFIED!

Ok, not happened to me at all, and I dont think it would, even if I didnt have a boyfriend. Why? because most of the guys that i've found at fish stores are complete idiots with a horrible attitude... besides being incompetent in anything regarding proper fish care.

He is actually really knowledgeable, and doesn't have an attitude. His store is the only place in which I've bought fish that haven't infected my tank or died. He also took 2 silver dollars off my hands. (I inherited my tank from someone else, and she had 2 lonely silver dollars in there looking horribly frightened and skittish. I didn't have enough room for a full shoal.) He gave me an even trade, and the fish are still there 2 months later. Plus, hes super cute

Now if he's on this forum, he'll definitely know who I am! Hahahaha.

Well he has connections and gets a discount I'm assuming, seeming as he owns a fish store. I SO want to see the fish farm!! Don't think that would ever happen though..

We got into the hobby together. I am not sure it's a good thing tho...we spend ALL our extra money on our fish and cats.

We both need new clothes for the winter badly....yet we keep getting fish & no clothes.
Someone in the relationship has to learn to be more disciplined here lol.

Yep, I have a story like that.

The guy works at one of my fish stores. He's sweet but I have a boyfriend (who doesn't pay too much attention to my fish obsession, thank goodness otherwise I'm sure we'd be broke too!) but this guy gives me nice discounts and throws in extra stuff for free so he's nice to look at AND worth the money. :P

Well be glad that he's CUTE, Rick and I always laugh how all the guys at our LFS's are all FAT, pasty white, and nerdy. not to mention a little smelly

ane maybe he still has those fish 2 months later cuz he says...
"awe i can't sell those fish that cute girl gave me, i gotta take care of them for her...."

I did notice that he didn't have a tag or price for the silver dollars....strange....

Okok. I saw him today and spent about 45 mintues at the fish store. I feel like such a dork, lol! TOO BAD I could only get one blue tetra (which makes 3 in my tank) and I'll have to go back next week once he has more in... becase I want a full shoal. He conveniently sells out of them before I can get there, so I have to keep coming back...

haha...i met a girl like that...she works at petsmart...she paid NO attn to anyone else in the store...just me haha and she is cute, so i got her number...hung out with her some, and wouldve asked her out, but shes 4yrs older than me and im kinda enjoying being single and hanging out as friends lol
...but its all good, i might ask her out if i dont transfer soon...i cant do long distance
