i read this in he newspaper,at the british open in 2007 while phil mickelson was getting ready to tea off, a large man ripped one and it off set mickelson's swing the man was fined 1500$ for farting?!!!!!!

There was a thread around here saying farmers in New Zealand (I think thats where it was) have to pay a tax on the Methane gas their cows release via fart. Crazy stuff.

that's just junk, environmental factors are just part of the game. Like the wind at a baseball game or the rain during a car race. and yes, spectators are part of the environment. If they don't want to play in front of people, they shouldn't be professionals.
