Hello Rezis and Welcome to Fish Lore.

It's kind of hard to tell for certain if it's ICH but my opinion is that it appears to be too big for ICH at this point. I'd be leaning more towards a type of fungus. Is it a white fluffy patch? Are you certain it isn't just new fin growth that is more white?

If it is ICH, the fish will look like it's been sprinkled with salt.

Keep your eye on it and see if it progresses.

Ich diagnosis reference photo
the above is a link to a neon fish belonging to one of our members that shows several spots of ICH.

This is a link that show some GRAPHIC photos of fish disease that may help you to diagnose the issues. http://www.jbl.de/onlinehospitaluk/p...=2&GalleryId=2 the first few shots are of ICH

Best of luck and keep us posted.
Ken

Wow, thanks for the fast replies, and warm welcome.

hmm, doesn't seem like ich since its just a single spec. Does it start with a single spec? or would it show multiple places at once?

But i noticed theres blurry cloudy residue surrouding the spec on the fin . Not just a clean salt grain of spec.

Getting urges to pick up the fish and scrape it off with my finger. -_-

I guess I should just wait and see how it progresses?

I looked over the photos in the link you gave me, it also looks like it could be lymphocystis. But they all look so simliar.

I also noticed, theres a red spot on the body, where a white spot used to be.

I bought a medication called ICH CURE with Formalin, it seems to be going away. woo hoo!

Is it ok to keep putting ich medication in the tank once in a while to prevent ich?

Hello Rezis. I would not recommend medicating your fish for no reason. I'm not familiar with the medication you've used. Some medications can destroy your cycle so be careful. Keep an eye on your water perimeters. (ammonia, nitrite and nitrate)
I'm so glad to hear that you're seeing signs of improvement.

Here is a product that I've used for several years now called Immune Plus:
http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...fm?pcatid=4262
It's a disease preventative and it's all natural. I can tell you my tank has been disease free for close to 10 years now. However, I can't say for certain that it is because of the above mentioned product because I take "immaculate" care of my tank and fish. Using this product gives me peace of mind and even if that's all it does...so be it I'm happy and my fish are happy.

That doesnt look like ich to me. It looks like the beginning of fin rot. From the looks of it, your fish should be fine. Does the fish act stressed at all??
