Another update of my iridescents sharks!!

Last time, I've shown you a video of my ID's and with some goldies. Now the goldies have their own home and I've put some bala sharks with my iri.

My bigger iri, he is about 14-16 inches now and he is about 1 year and half years old, he's getter bigger!

Sharky as I named him, he's now more happier with the bala sharks. The goldie were too quiet for him I guess. LOL!

Well here is a new vid taken yesterday of the new family. Let me know what you think about it!!!

What size are you upgrading to next? I read about someone who had to buy a 900 gal. for their 2 ID sharks.

Whoa, that's a seriously big fish. He makes the 125 look small!
I bet you're careful during water changes. lol
Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks y'all!

Well for now, I don't plan to change it!! Seems like he can wait another year. Will see! But I don't even want to think about catching him yet!! My god!!

But for the banging, I've put a black towel on each end of the tank, oustide of it of course, and he's not banging himself anymore! He learn to stop before the plants, they've become a reference to him, passing that, he knows...!!

And for the water change and anything involving touching the tank, it has become a work of precision!! Almost like a surgeon work!! Mouahaha!!

Don't need to tell you that ID sharks are beautiful but very crazy fish also. No knocking, no big noise either, or else...Sharky's gone wild!!

I dont have id's as I cant find room for a huge tank, but I can tell you he wont make it another year in there...especially with a great varied diet as he should be having....he is an amazing fish and congrats on all the hard work to keep him happy!!

Man don't we all just wish we could own a monster like that. Of course most of us could never find the money for it . Maybe one day I'd like to try my hands on a red tail catfish. But of course that tank is gonna have to be huge. Good looking ID though!

Beautiful fish you have there. I had to give mine up because I bought him before researching him...yep and impulse buy...and he of course grew like mad. He/she was a very very cool fish indeed but definitely needed more room than I could provide.

Hello Malinah Hope you're doing well. Beautiful tank and fish! Wow, he's huge. Did you see Tony's thread? Here is a link:
a little info on the tank busting sharks...
Check out the photos. I think he's going to need a swimming pool in your back yard LOL.
Thanks for sharing. You've done a great job.

Same here, the pet store never told me that ID sharks can grow as big as they will be. Anything to make some money. I don't trust them anymore, I do my research on the net if I want to know something. Always

Thanks Ken

And Tony's thread is really a great idea. I saw the pet store's seller, selling a 2 feet ID for a 4 feet fish tank., it's so cruel! It's a shame!
