Awesome video! Forgive my ignorance, but what is 'exodon'?

no worries, it is not ignorance at all. this is not a very common fish in the hobby, and many people have never heard of them.
exodon paradoxus is a monotypic characin. for the sake of simple explanation, they are essentially 2-3" piranhas, but much more active. some refer to them as "bucktooth tetra", though this common name is inaccurate and very misleading, so i dont use this term, or support its use.

thank you. they are my favorites. hard to find, and a bit pricey, but well worth every cent.

here is a closer look courtesy of Ron Morse

they also get a nice yellow/ green shine around the black spots. i supplement mine with some foods high in beta carotene, and this also helps to really bring out those reds.

it was 8 cubes of bloodworms. only took them a matter of seconds to completely devour it. they will eat an entire pack of bloodworms in one sitting.
