Great vid Shawnie!
im actually having issues with my 30 gal now ...lost one of my amazing koi angels and all my bn's today parimeters are perfect and not a single change in a few years other than adding the bn babies weeks ago ......
Weather changes never seem to bode well for my bettas, I always lose a few with season changes. I've lost 2 recently.
But my Cons are spawning, nothing from the Oscars though thank god!

Oh wow, I'm so sorry
I know we've talked about these weather chnages before. It always make me nervous.
I actually saw a pair of my Bloody Parrots with rocks in their mouths and spitting them out, preparing a spawning place. They must have seen Shawnie's video! GASP!! I haven't seen that happen in all of these years and it just happened today! I thought "oh no it's stuck!" but it wasn't. LOL Whew! What I've seen them do in the past is just move the rocks by pushing them away.

My little betta girl Frosty has been acting weird lately, I really really hope nothing happens to her. She has been laying around allot lately and acting depressed..
Ken I wish I had an answer to that...all my tests have been perfect..no changes in temps, pH, or diet...no additions...etc...we just had a ban on water in our area(some pig farm is running into our wells) this am but I havent done a water change this week ....its just got me very confused....
lucy mentioned things get freaky in tanks and ill agree there for me this time...never had it happen before..usually change of seasons brings spawning and erratic bahavoirs (one in the same sometimes)
One of the bn's I got a ways back didnt make it ..he was teeny tiny but the other 2 were getting to be chunky butts quickly..but they didnt make it either ....
OH no. Gosh Shawnie, that's so terrible. I'm sorry you lost your little girl and your bn's. I know you must be so frustrated and saddened by it all. I got teary eyed when I read your last post. I hope everything gets better with you tanks soon.
No but this happened:
The Guppy and Neon Tetras have decided to band together in a little group(more like neon tetras since they follow the guppy). I always noted this and it has never changed. Sometimes one neon tetra prefers hanging out with the guppy instead of the other neon tetra. That's one interesting group. They are behind some plants plotting their revenge for putting so little of them but they have to wait for my 20 gal to be mature.
I wish my fish were immortal I wouldn't stand one's death. Sorry for your loss.
