Wow Shawnie, both pairs are stunning! I love it when you post eye candy for me to drool over, lol When I am ready for some more angels, I might have to buy a couple of you babies from your koi pair from you They are such beautiful majestic fish, and by far one of my favorites

awww ty kate!!!! they are faboo kinda fish..and IF i can get them to stop snacking, id gladly send you some !!! the bf actually has them in their own tank with just baby bn's to hopefully get them to have a sucessful spawn..other than his africans, he drools over these two and talks to them daily (you know I love sharing fish babies for just shipping costs )

I'll be thinking really hard this week on whether or not I want the cons to breed. If I do, I'll just add "your" water to the tank

All you have to do is put them in a tank and add almost any water and there will be eggs and soon babies. I was going to separate my black pair but I didn't get there in time and found more eggs in the flowerpot and now wigglers. One of them is coming out of that tank and the same goes for the pink ones they are getting separated for a while too.
Your Koi are gorgeous I just love them. Be careful what you say around them. Mine apparently heard me say I was going to steal their eggs next time cause now they lay the eggs on a plant they know I will not break a leaf off of!!!

I did seperate all of mine!!! even put some juvies in with my males in the african tank thinking things would be fine...welllllll...one of my juvies was a gal and now I have a spawn in there she is barely big enough to hold a diaper let alone change one!!!!!! and hes a beast LOL ....

ty for the nice koi comment...I say break the leaf!!!!!! ...my issue isnt just the egg laying, dad seems to fertilize the wrong area
