Really? It looked like you had more SAE's...
and speaking of them, are they very good at controlling algae? I really love their look. And also, do you have a problem with keeping so many algae eaters? I see you have otos, SAE's, and BN's..

Nope, just the 2 SAEs and that may be one too many . When I got them they got along great. The bigger they get, the more they seem to fight. I may have to relocate one when I setup another tank.

They are pretty good at controlling algae. I was told by my LFS that there are certain kinds of algae that the otos won't eat but the SAEs will. That is originally why I bought them. The otos and SAEs have done a great job at keeping the algae under control.

I added the BNs recently. I bought 6 on AquaBid. I put 2 in my 29 gallon with my endlers and 4 in this tank. I really didn't need more algae eaters in the 38, but I had no where else to put them . I will probably get rid of a couple of them when they get bigger (and I can sex them) if I don't have another tank or two set up by then.

So far I haven't had any problem having so many algae eaters in one tank. I do add algae wafers and fresh veggies occasionally to make sure they are all getting enough to eat though. I have never seen the SAEs harass any other fish (except for each other). The same has been true for the BNs.

Wow thats some great movie making and a really nice tank. Love all the neons and your gouramis sure love the camera. Are those plants all real or fake besides the moss?

All the plants in the tank are real. This is my first attempt at a planted tank so I picked hardy plants. They all seem to be doing well (crosses fingers behind back ). My tank profile is up to date so all my plants are listed there.
