hahah well who knows maybe they will change their minds and not lay eggs!! LOL and kate I have more vids of my oscars than my kids ...they yell at me all the time ...ever wanna check them just look up zrcatgirl on youtube

if they do lay eggs, ill not step in so who knows how many will get past the oscars n jd's...crazy fish I tell ya!

still have 20 or so babies from last batch...although im shipping out 7 tomorrow ...PHEW!! LOL

Thanks... Glory is a ham... he doesnt look as good as he used to tho, I have had to deal with fin rot and meds for awhile now.
When I look back at my vids from over a year ago, I get to see all the fish I used to have, like the tiger barbs and platies, mollies, D. Gourami's etc. Im glad that I took those vids when I did. Its like photos... holding on to a part of the past, and I enjoy looking thru them from time to time.
I thought your guys looked awfully large! lol... I enjoyed going through your vids as well. I love the peachy Oscar the best and would like to add one of that color. I also would like some tiger Oscars as well, they have such great patterns.
After agreeing to a 100g tank last weekend, my husband is now thinking upgrade to at least a 120-150 tank! He really would like to keep Oscars in there and let the JDs grow to their adult size as well. Im like.. Fine by me! lol..
So I am keeping my eye for the larger tank every day on Craigslist and the local classified sections. It may take awhile to find it... but ya just never know!

awesome!!!! id love love love to have a 120 or 150...ive actually learned my orange guy is a red latino oscar LOL ...although dont tell him ...we have said albino for years hahaha...albino's are actually all whitesh yellow...so I agree...my guy is handsome ...ive seen some really cool paterened tigers...mines a love bug but doesnt have the unique patterns like ive seen...I still love him...just wish I could figure which was the fem and which isnt hahahaha...my bf says the tiger is the fem as it has a MAJOR tude most of the time but unless I can catch them laying eggs again, ill keep saying the tiger tude is the MALE

I was looking at my old vids last night also....it is nice to have them from the past ..I agree...ive been through alot of rescues and I love seeing them when they were around

We had a pair breed in our 120g and a 90g piranha tank. They were suppose to feeders for the piranha. They kept the piranha at bay for 3 days before the 6" male disappeared. He would literally chase the 10" piranha away.
In the long run we learned that convicts are too smart & too fast to be piranha food unless big enough/meaty enough to be caught.
You should have seen all the convicts we had left when we sold the piranha. Scooping them out by the net full...2" babies breeding all over. LOL It was amazing.
Brave fish piranha are...err convcts.
