Love the music with the video.

Just a guess, but I would say they were mating, or getting ready to.
I've never witnessed it myself, so wait fore other's opinions.

Could they be playing "Simon says"? I'm not sure but I'd have to guess a mating behavior too.

ive seen videos simalar to this which were fish mating, but with a different species. i would say its a mating behavior

it'll be interesting to see if they ever do actually mate, or just court each other. I'd definitely love to have some more red finned tinfoil barbs, most pet stores don't carry them...even though they're preferable to tinfoil barbs (imho).

it's even more awesome because they're 8 inches long.

I guess i can keep telling people they're bumpin' uglies...or that they're practicing for the talent show...either way, lol.

It's really funny because they look bored most of the time and lazily drift around. Then suddenly one of them up and run headlong into the other and it's ON!
