Here is a short video of two of the longfin cory cats playing in the new tank, and that is "Elio" ( after Elio Castronoves - Indy 500 driver) that big red Rainbow sticking his nose in.
A few more pics of the new guys.
My fancy driftwood will be here next week, to finish the tank off.
I did end up with a Rena Filstar XP1 canister filter. The bow front corner is beautiful, but boy all this special stuff it needs, it is an expensive little "hobby" to have.
Anyway, had to share my babies. We are in the middle of an electrical storm, so have postponed the cabin for either a few hours or til morning.
That is so cute! Oh my goodness! I'm really liking the Rainbow fish....I know nothing about them.....But I sure like the way they look.....
Karen, that sounds like me, well I had researched them like crazy, but couldn't find them anywhere. Then I found them locally. No kidding, they were grey all over when I got them, I wish I had taken a pic then so we could see the difference.
These must almost be full grown, tho, so that means they are a bit older, sadly..........but I love them anyway. Grey power!!
Hi Val
wow... love the new photos. I have to say.. its amazing the difference in good quality fish compared to my local chain store! Yes, your rainbows are mature as you can tell by the back 'hump'. But the nice thing about that, is that the color up so nicely when they are mature, just like yours are doing!
Congrats again... and I wish you success with your new tank and lil buddies!
I love those! Wish we could find some, they're beautiful cory cats!
They are so fun, and it might just be me , but they are swimming all over, at all levels of the tank..........so fun to watch ( the ones in the other tank scoot around the mid and bottom levels more )! I got them at blueram06 on Aquabid.

Love the rainbows too.
They are adorable, frisky and all over the tank. Their tails are quite long, especially the bottom part. They remind me of little sailboats!!
