I currently have a 2 tanks going in our kitchen. I want to put another 20L on one counter which for some reason has about 1/4 inch less space height wise where I want it. What options do I have for hoods that will allow me to place this tank that I don't hav room for with a typical hood?
I looked at Fosters but didn't see anything, I think if I call them they could recommend something, great customer service.
Do any of you have any ideas? It has to be lighted.

Hello Beth. I really like Drsfostersmith.com and I've ordered from them for years. I also use thatfishplace.com often. You may give them a try as well. I know I've seen smaller versions of lights for glass top tanks that aren't so high.

Just throwing this our for the sake of creativity....

But if the tank is going to sit underneath a cabinet, what about trying an all glass top and mounting a light to the cabinet above....you know, like one of those normal "under cabinet" lighting that you could get at menards...

That would work great with your tank! they even have HO lights for under cabinet fixtures.

I've been trying to convince my wife to let me put a tank in our kitchen, using the same lighting concept. I think if I could show her a good pic of a finished product, I might be able to sway her.
