30 Gal Tank Bowing

I have a 30 gal tank that has been up for about 10 months. I just noticed that it is bowing out about 3/8" in the middle.

I've inspected the tank and all the seams seem fine.

I assume that is a problem, but don't know. I change about 1/3 of the water today and the bowing did go down to about 1/4" when the water was lower.

Should I be concerned? What about adding a centre brace?

Rick, if a tank is bowing out that seems like something to be worried about. Just to be on the safe side I woould get another tank. I have heard of fish tanks breaking and causing 10K worth of damage to some homes, so better safe than sorry right?

Every tank bows to an extent. Most of the time it isn't noticeable. If the top trim is in good condition (yes, it is structural), the tank is sitting on a stand designed for an aquarium, and it is sitting level, it's probably nothing to worry about.
