I have an idea for a fish tank, that, who knows if I will do it, but I was wondering if it can be done. My plan is a "cave" tank, where there is some type of divider thing (not sure what) that looks like rock, and holes into the cave area. My main question is make the "cave" dark. I thought maybe tint, like for cars, dark side in, so you can see into the tank but for the fish it looks dark. Also I figured some kind of lights that the fish can't see or maybe some blue lights that light it up enough to see, but still dark. So, I ask you experts if the tint thing would work and what kind of lights would you suggest? Like I said, I'm probably not going to be getting a new tank anytime soon, but maybe sometime I'll get one and make my "cave" tank.

you could design and make the cave outside the tank then put it in when it's finished. I don't know how you would make it dark. There are under water lights is that what you mean?

Underwater LED'S...I think they come in all colors now. Maybe do some soft backlighting in the cave..sounds like a cool idea you have.
