I finally managed to pick up a new tank today after weeks of looking for one. It's a nice 40gal with a good stand which is going to be my final grow up tank for the Platies and Swords. About 50 of the poor little guys have been stuck in a 10gal for the past week since I had to rearrange things after an untimely kribensis spawn, but with the magic of instant cycling with Oscar tank filter media, decor and substrate they should be in their new home by tommorrow! I'll post some pics once it's up and running. That makes tank number 10 and is DEFINATLY the last one....................

Congrats on your new tank Nick! Sounds like you have your hands full with all these breeding fish you keep. I bet those fry will be very happy to be in the 40g tank soon...

All set up! I'm running two internal filters with media from the Oscar tank, plus rocks water and decor from other establised tanks so it should cycle straight away. It's even got a shelf down below that my two betta tanks can sit on! It'll be interesting to see how much faster the babies grow now that they have a huge tank all to themselves.........

Awesome! You may have gotten a little bigger tank than you thought... that looks like roughly the same dimensions as my old 45 gallon tall AGA (36"x12"x24").
