33 Long

I'm still long-term fantasizing out my MTS while I wait for my first tank to fishless cycle (a 12-gallon nano cube).

What about this 33 gallon long for schooling Cardinal Tetras and Cory Cats? The dimensions are 48 x 12½ x 13.

Would a 45 long at 48 x 12½ x 17 be more suitable? I just really like the extreme aspect ratio of the 33.

I love that 33g. Where in the world did you find it? It would be truly gorgous for cardinals and corys.
I personally would make a shell dweller tank out of it but thats another fantasy LOL

I just picked up a 33L for my lab. They have the same footprint as a 55 just shorter. Since they are so uncommmon and hard to find (had to special order it), they generally run about the same price as a 55.

Since most shellies don't use the top half of their tanks a shallow tank is ideal. It doesn't usually work to put top water fish in either as they eat the shellie fry. i loved when i had them in the 30L but it was still too deep.
sorry for the hijack ZomZom

Although not common, shouldnt be that difficult. AGA used to make them. I used to own several of them, Dont let them tell you it is special item. It is not.
it should be slightly lower than 55g unless 55G is on sale and 55G seems to be the one that is on sale most often.
