just left my local walmart and they had the tetra 3 gallon combo with the internal filter and LED light for $15 on clearance. all you need is a heater.

i instantly thought of all you betta savers out there and thought they would be PERFECT for you.

and all those people who SHOULD use a Quarantine Tank and don't, (sometimes myself included) this would be an awesome setup. just run the little internal whisper in your cycled tank and then pull it out and put it in this for quarantine.

My local store is in Ft. Wayne, IN. Store number 5025. 260-492-5845. go to your local walmart and if they don't have it on sale, see if they will price match other walmart deals. then tell them about this one!

i promised no new tanks either.........but she was with me and i somehow talked her into it!!

Neons and Betta are considered as questionable. I figure it's a matter of the Betta (or Bettas if sorority), the nature of the Neon school, and adequate tank size/aquascaping.

I tried that combination and it worked with a male Betta (moved the Neons to a bigger tank as I wanted a bigger school) but failed with my Sorority tank.

My Walmart is having a big clearance on all fish stuff too..My mom just bought me a 2.5 gallon Minibow with filter and light for $7.50.

i know what a good deal huh??..But I don't think I'll use it....2.5 kinda seems small..But I'm sure I'll find some cute little cup baby that will be better off in 2.5 gallons then in a cup and I won't be able to hold back..lol.

I was at my local walmart, and they did not have any at all. But this tells me that they probably did have the minibows on sale, because they don't even have a space for them anymore. Boo!

I love the 5 gallons!!!. I wish they had some but mother said nope just these. This is still from the clearance where I got my mother a 5 gallon hex. The minibow's are a great tank though.
I hope you didn't miss out on the sale that would be bad. But you might want to check clearance aisles that where this was, not with the fish stuff.
