Freshwater Fan

As the title states, I won an AQ 802/70 on ebay for my 55 gallon. I want to create more water circulation in the tank. Currently the tank is circulating about 8 times an hour, but I want to boost that number, so I am adding a powerhead. I want to have fun with it and figured I would also add one of those hydor flow rotating deflectors to create some movement in the scape. I hava community tank with loaches, raibow sharks, pinapple swordtails, parrots, gourami's, danios and a pleco. I know the loaches like a little current, but do you think that the others would like it as well? I am looking forward to my new toy for them. It was cheap enough anyhow. I fugure the 360 attatchment would be a huge plus, as well as tame the output of the aquaclear.

I'm not sure, but I don't think the gouramis will like it. Mine stay away from strong current in my tank (like my HOB filter).

The good thing about AquaClear 70 (formerly 802) is that you can adjust its output flow by twisting clockwise the intake tube. I have one at full speed in my betta Sorority/Community 30Breeder tank. Since my tank is heavily planted, they all love it!
