DIY CO2 gen blown up

help!! my DIY CO2 generator blown up! the concoction contaminating my tank, i've allready replace half of the tank water and added some calcareous stone to fight the acid concentration. What should i do next??

I don't think its going to be that bad, how much got in. Keep check on the pH. what were the ingredients in the co2 generator (sugar and yeast) filter should pick up most of the yeast. Test the regular parameters also to make sure the cycle is not harmed by the cleaning or the sugar.

Have you actually done pH test? Since I dont know how much went in, hard to say.

Yeast and sugar is not my concern and as afar as CO2 gas, it should have escaped to atmosphere. My utmost concern will be NH3, NO2, if any.
Since have already done waer changes, how about just monitoring water and observing fish behavior.

I'm sorry this happened to you and your fishies. Do you have another place you could put them till you get things figured out? even a large bucket? I mean are we talking about a few drops in the tank or a big cloudy white mess?

You're right. it's been 2 days since that happens and my fishes doesn't act strangely. So i think it's fine. thanks for your concern though

i haven't done the pH test yet. The local pet store were out of stock for that. Things like that are quite rare in my town.

it was quite a big cloudy mess, unfortunately i don't have any other place to move them. but they do just fine now
