Bleached decor dangerous?

The other day I was cleaning out my new tank (it was disgusting). There was also a big piece of decor that was coated with tough algae, so I soaked it in a 5%ish bleach solution. Thing is, I then forgot about it and left it in there much longer than planned. And now it looks a bit, well, bleached. I'm wondering if this is dangerous at all, or if it's ok as long as I don't mind it looking a bit white. (It's not all white, just in some places)

It shouldn't be dangerous. Rinse it off, dechlorinate, and it should be fine.
What kind of decor is it?

I've done that too. Let it soak in water OD'd with conditioner for a while.

It's just the normal, resin-type of decor.

But I'm glad to hear you don't think it's dangerous. I would like to use it, even if it does look a bit riddiculous now.

It's been sitting out for like 2 days now. So hopefully a good rinse and lots of de-chlor will take care of it. *crossing fingers*

Yeah, it really should be fine. The paint should have been aquarium safe, and under the paint should just be inert plastic compound. No problems there.
