On craigslist about 25 minutes from my house I found a 55 gallon tank with stand and canopy 2 whisper filters and 2 whisper heaters along with many accessories

heres a picture



he only wants 300 dollars which seems like an amazing deal to me and it would really open my possibilities as far as fish keeping goes because my current tank is only 28 gallons

i just want advice from the fishlore community because you all have proven so helpful in my other topic

Tank and stand alone are worth $300, if the tank holds water. Ask to see it filled and inspect it for leaks before you pay for it. (I don't always follow my own advice, but that doesn't mean it isn't good advice, just that I'm a lazy person sometimes).

haha lol well i have two already ones the houses though and not mine personally, i just run it for my mom(im 16) but my personal tank was only 28 gallons and i like the possibilities i can do with a 55 gallon

I'm sorry , in this context it is a serious disease contracted from other hobbyist called multiple tank syndrome. The symptoms are- wanting more and bigger tanks. Daydreaming about new fish. Discussing said fish and tanks with other hobbyist

I'm thinking of just building my own stand and canopy since I don't mind working with wood. I actually posted a topic in the diy section.
